Prosper ISD Rated Among Best School Districts

If you have school-aged children and are looking to move into a community of new homes in Prosper TX, you’ll be happy to hear that the local school district is one of the best in Texas.

Niche.com recently rated Prosper ISD at #18 among more than a thousand school districts in the state. The district earned an overall grade of A+ from Niche. Prosper was awarded A+ in Academics, College Prep, Clubs & Activities, Sports and Food. It also received A ratings in Resources & Facilities and Administration and A- in Teachers and Diversity.

The district offers 30 AP classes, a Dual Language Program, and Gifted & Talented program. Students have access to more than 100 Career & Technical Education courses. High school students can participate in job shadowing and internships. With almost 25,000 students enrolled, Prosper ISD has an impressive 98% graduation rate. 

Sports are another strong area for Prosper. It ranked #6 out of 964 Texas districts for Best School Districts for Athletes in Texas. Prosper has 38 varsity sports teams and 252 teams district-wide.

Extracurricular activities and enrichment programs include everything from robotics clubs and debate teams to art, music and theater.
