Buying a New Construction Home with Landon Homes

Here’s an overview of what it’s like to build a new home with Landon Homes and John R. Landon:

Preliminary steps

You’ll choose one of our new home communities in Frisco or Prosper TX and then select your lot and floor plan.

Next, you’ll sign the purchase agreement and obtain financing. Our preferred lender, Cinch Funding, can offer preferred customer discounts to help you save on your new home. Cinch works seamlessly with us to help you finance your new Landon or John R. Landon home.

You’ll select your personalization finishes in our Design Gallery. In this exciting step you’ll see, touch and compare flooring, paint, cabinets, countertops, lighting and more in person. Our professional designer can help guide your selections for a cohesive look. Bring your inspo pics!

During the building process

Construction begins with site preparation, foundation work and slab pouring. The house is framed and enclosed. Then utilities are roughed in. We’ll meet with you at the site to tour the house between utility installation and drywall application so you can see where everything is located inside your walls.

When construction is complete

We’ll meet for a final walk-through and orientation to introduce you to your completed home. You’ll learn about its features and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Afterward we’ll clean the house from top to bottom to make sure it’s ready for moving day.

With construction and the orientation complete, we’ll meet you at the title company for the closing! Congratulations! You are now the owner of a brand new Landon home!
