What to Do Before Selling Your House

• Thoroughly clean the entire house, including carpets and pet items. Hire someone if it’s too much for you to do on your own. Make sure kitchens and bathrooms are especially clean before viewings or open houses.
• Make sure your home smells nice. But don’t use heavily scented air fresheners, since some people are sensitive or allergic to them. The old standby of baking cookies before an open house works wonders.
