Landon Homes Wins McSam Award for Best Architectural Design

Landon Homes is pleased to announce that one of our home designs won first place in the McSam Awards 2021. The competition is held each year by the Sales and Marketing Council of the Dallas Builders Association in conjunction with StrucSure Home Warranty. This year the awards were presented July 24 at a gala hosted by Olympic athlete and former NFL player Johnny Quinn.

More than 500 total entries were received in 64 categories. The entries were judged by a panel of industry experts from around the US.

Our winning home design, #15 Jasmine Collection, won the category of Best Architectural Design, Detached Home, Sales Price Under $350,000.

Plan #15 Jasmine Collection is one of the homes we build in Magnolia Landing Cottage. This versatile plan is just over 1,500 square feet and can be one or two stories with 3 or 4 bedrooms and 2 or 3 baths. It has a 2-car rear garage. Jasmine has great curb appeal with cottage-style features such as a front porch, dormer window, multiple gables and traditional exterior materials. A variety of front elevations are available in varying combinations of siding, shakes, and board and batten.

Inside, the Jasmine has open-plan living areas. The kitchen has an island and a spacious pantry. An optional covered patio provides sheltered outdoor living space off the dining area. The owner’s suite is separated from the secondary bedrooms by the main hallway. Both secondary bedrooms share a full bath. Jasmine floor plan homes start at $344,990.
