Fall Fun for Families in Frisco

While we’re all busy getting our homes in Frisco TX ready for fall, let’s take some time to enjoy the season. These ideas will help you and your family make the most of October in Frisco:

Enjoy the Outdoors

Fall weather is perfect for enjoying the parks and trails in Frisco. The city is blessed with great places to get outside and walk, bike, play, have a picnic or try new sports. You may want to try Frisco Commons Park, Discovery Park or Celebration Park to make the most of a beautiful autumn day.

Indulge in Art

If art is your jam, take a stroll through the Texas Sculpture Garden at HALL Park. Covering four acres, the park has both indoor and outdoor collections. You can even download a guided audio tour app to learn more about the works on display.

Celebrate Halloween

Pumpkins on the Prairie is open throughout October. Kids can purchase a pumpkin, play in the bounce house, and enjoy pumpkin-related crafts and games. The POP Fall Festival will be held on Sunday, October 29 with trunk or treat, barbecue and activities.

The Ford Center at The Star is hosting two Halloween events. On October 25 the center will have a free outdoor showing of the movie “Hocus Pocus.” On October 28 the center will host a Halloween Spooktacular. This free family event will feature trick or treating, games, live music and photo ops.

Also on October 28, PGA Frisco is hosting a “Halloween Par-Tee” with a 9-hole Pumpkin Putting Patch, carnival games, golf cart trick or treat, face painting, food and a movie. Kids can wear a costume and bring a bag to collect treats. Tickets are necessary for participating children age 3 and up.

PGA Frisco is just 15 minutes from the Lexington Frisco community, where a new phase is open in the Estate 64s series. New standard features for this phase include Chandler cabinets, waterfall island edge, linear fireplaces and upgraded tile. The Estate series features luxury homes by John R.
