What are the Pros of Buying a Newly Built Home?

If you’re shopping for Frisco homes, chances are you’re considering purchasing a newly built home. New communities are springing up around this growing area, offering attractive alternatives to older neighborhoods. These new homes have advantages that you won’t find in existing homes.

The most obvious advantage is that new homes are move-in ready. You don’t have to scrub away years of someone else’s dirt and grime.

Second, a new home has up-to-date mechanical systems and appliances. There’s little chance of the furnace conking out in your first winter in the home. If anything does happen, which is rare, you’ll have warranties on the house itself as well as on the mechanical systems and appliances.

Third, new homes are much more energy-efficient than older ones. A new home is more comfortable year-round and more economical to run.

Fourth, having a new house built from the ground up will ensure that your house will be the way you want it from the day you move in. Even if you purchase an inventory home already under construction, you can usually select the options and finishes that you prefer.

Fifth, new home communities have amenities that are lacking in older neighborhoods. For example, Lexington Frisco has an amenity center with a pool, clubhouse and fitness room. The community has walking trails and green spaces along with beautiful landscaping throughout.

Lexington Frisco is the largest new home community in Frisco TX. The entire multifaceted development covers 950 acres. It will include shops and neighborhood services as well as brand new homes. Front yard maintenance is included, so you have more time to enjoy the amenities.

Lexington Frisco features three series of homes by Landon Homes and two series by John R. Landon, Homes of Distinction.
