Fun Things to Do This Fall in Copper Canyon

This month you can find several fun activities in the nearby town of Flower Mound to help you celebrate Halloween with your family and four-legged friends.

Fang-tacular Family Campout

3 p.m. Oct. 16 to 9 a.m. Oct. 17

Twin Coves Park

Bring your camping gear to stay overnight at the park for this all-ages event. Dinner, breakfast and snacks will be provided, along with activities, games and ghost stories. Prizes will be awarded for the best-decorated tent.

Pumpkin Dive

Oct. 23 from 6-8 p.m.

Flower Mound CAC Indoor Pool

Black lights will cast a spooky glow on the pool and its “floating pumpkin patch.” Kids can choose a pumpkin and decorate it with provided supplies.

Woof-O-Ween

Oct. 28 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Hound Mound Dog Park

This event is just what it sounds like: Halloween for dogs! Enjoy a pet costume contest, photo ops, music, treats and prizes.
