Fun April Events for Families in Frisco
One of our favorite things about being a home builder in Frisco TX is that our team members and customers get to live in one of the best places in America. Part of what makes the Frisco area so nice to live in is the abundance of fun things to do. This month we’d like to tell you about some upcoming events that you may want to be part of.
Total Eclipse of the Ballpark
April 8 starting at 11 a.m.
Riders Field, Frisco TX
Enjoy the coming solar eclipse with your family in a festive atmosphere! Riders Field is hosting an eclipse viewing party with live music and a RoughRiders team member meet & greet. An entrance fee of $10 includes the party, a pair of eclipse viewing glasses and a voucher for a RoughRiders opening week game.
Rowlett’s Family Campout
April 13 at 3 p.m. until 9 a.m. April 14
Pecan Grove Park, Rowlett TX
Bring your tent and camping gear to take part in this family-oriented outdoor campout in the park. The event includes a meal, s’mores, campfire and fun activities. Information about camping in regional parks will be provided. Cost is $10 per person for ages 8 and over; free for kids 7 and younger.
Paws on Broadway
April 27 from 9 a.m.-noon
Broadway Street, Prosper TX
Furry family members are invited to this free event. Dogs can play in ball pits, cool off in mini pools, make paw print paintings and tackle an obstacle course. Vendors will offer services and treats for pets.
