Frisco is Ranked the Safest City in the US

More good news for people living in Frisco TX homes: The city has been ranked as the safest place to live in the U.S., according to SmartAsset. This is the city’s second year in a row at the top of the list.

SmartAsset studied 200 cities around the country to analyze safety data such as property crimes, violence, drug and alcohol statistics and vehicle accidents. To finalize their rankings, they also considered the affordability of the highest-ranked cities.

Frisco once again tops the list at #1. The city had the fourth lowest violent crime rate out of 200 cities. It also had the sixth lowest rate of property crimes. When the safest cities are ranked for affordability, Frisco is in the top 5, with housing costs taking less than 19% of the median household income. That ranking is boosted by the fact that Frisco has one of the highest median household incomes on the list. It’s the only city in the study to place in the top 5 in both safety and affordability.
