Frisco Community Parade

Each year a fantastic community event takes place just a few minutes from the Lexington Frisco community of homes in Frisco TX. On Veterans Day, the city of Frisco honors veterans and celebrates Frisco’s spirit with a community parade.

Originally the parade began as the homecoming parade for Frisco’s high school. Now the city has more than one high school, so the parade has become a city-wide event. It features veterans, military groups, marching bands, football teams, homecoming courts from area schools, civic organizations, fire and police vehicles, sports teams and mascots, floats and more.

The parade starts at 10 a.m. on November 11 at Toyota Stadium. The route follows a loop, heading east on Main Street, then north on North County Road, west on All Stars Road and south on Frisco St. to return to the stadium.

The parade is organized by the City of Frisco, the Frisco Chamber of Commerce, Frisco Independent School District and the Frisco Veterans Advisory Committee. Participating schools are Frisco ISD, Lewisville ISD and Legacy Christian Academy. Participant entrance fees benefit the scholarship fund of the Frisco Education Foundation.
