DFW Home Sales Expected to Increase in 2020

According to an article in the Dallas Morning News, new home sales in the Dallas-Fort Worth area are expected to increase in 2020, possibly reaching record highs. Economists from the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University predict permits for new housing construction will increase by almost 10% this year. The increase will be aided by low mortgage interest rates and growing demand for housing in the area.
