Back-to-School Fun at PGA Frisco
It’s almost time for school to start again at Frisco ISD! Classes start on August 13. Kids may not be happy that summer vacation is almost over, but a couple of fun activities in the PGA District can get them out of their homes in Frisco TX to enjoy these last few days off.
Little Designers in the District: Back-to-School Board
PGA Frisco is hosting this special craft activity on Saturday, August 9 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Kids will color and decorate an erasable board they can use as a cute prop for their first day of school photos and other school-related photo ops. Tickets are $22.45 for the event and all materials.
Ronny Golf Park
Stay after the craft project or go back another day to play in Ronny Golf Park. This multipurpose section of the PGA complex has 2 acres full of fun for kids of all ages. They can burn some energy on the playground or get a workout on the obstacle course, which features climbing nets and other outdoor fitness equipment. The park has kid-sized putting greens, chipping greens and an 18-hole putting course where kids can get the feel of playing a round of golf. All the turf is synthetic, so it’s usable in almost any weather. The park is free to the public.
Pools and Spray ParkPGA Omni Resort has two family-friendly pools and a spray park for the little ones. Day passes are available for local residents.
