A Preview of Our Building Process

Are you excited about the idea of building a new home, but nervous about all the steps involved? With Landon Homes, you never have to worry. We have a streamlined process we use as an award-winning home builder in Frisco TX. Our homebuilding and design experts will be there to guide you the entire way,

Here’s a preview of the main steps toward becoming the owner of a brand new home!

1. You choose your community, lot and home design. Tour one or more of our North Texas communities to decide where you want to live. Then choose your home design and lot to put together your perfect new home package.
2. Sign the purchase agreement. This step gets the ball rolling!
3. Obtain pre-approval for your loan and financing for your mortgage. You can do this on your own or work with our preferred lender, who knows the Landon Homes process inside and out.
4. Choose your design details such as flooring, cabinetry, light fixtures and more in our design gallery. Our design expert will help you put together a coordinated look you’ll love!
5. Choose your final exterior colors.
6. Meet with us to go over the contract and documents to make sure all the details are correct.
7. Join us at the house to see the wiring, plumbing and other utilities before the drywall is applied. This meeting gives you an “inside look” at the inner workings of your new home.
8. When your home is complete, we meet you there again for a final walk-through and orientation before the closing.
9. Attend the closing at the title company. We’ll go over all documents, everything is signed and we hand you the keys to your brand new dream home!
