It’s no wonder so many people are buying homes for sale in Little Elm TX. The North Texas city has been named one of the top cities in the state and country for affordability, growth and family-friendliness. NerdWallet.com, an online resource for consumer financial education, ranked Little Elm as the 24th best city in the U.S. and 7th best in Texas for raising a family. NerdWallet had already recognized Little Elm as being one of the safest cities in Texas and as being one of the fastest-growing boroughs in the metroplex.
NerdWallet analyzed more than 1,000 U.S. cities with populations between 25,000 and 100,000 and based its rankings on income and affordability, prosperity and growth, and family-friendliness. Little Elm’s final score was 62.81.
Maggie Clark, an analyst for NerdWallet, said, “We always look and make sure the town’s economy can support a growing population, and in Little Elm’s case, there seems to be a very low cost of living to go along with the population growth.” Clark added, “What set Little Elm apart was the massive growth rate.”

And he noted that while only 909 new lots were created last year, another 1,835 lots are in the pipeline for construction in 2015.
